Tabitha (Dorcas)

Acts 9:36-42

Tabitha was known in her town for her kindness. She loved making clothes, blankets and warm garments for widows and people who were poor. Everyone who knew her loved her gentle heart and caring hands. One day Tabitha became very sick and died. The people cried and sent for Peter. They showed him all the clothes she had made. Peter prayed and God brought Tabitha back to life. When everyone heard what happened, they praised God and believed in Jesus.
