One day, King Josiah’s helpers were fixing the temple and found a very old scroll. It was a special scroll that had God’s laws written on it, but the people had not read it for a long time. The helpers brought the scroll to the king, but they did not understand everything it said. They needed someone who loved God and could explain His words clearly. So they went to Huldah. Huldah prayed and listened to God. Then she explained God’s message with courage and kindness. Her wisdom helped the king and the people turn back to God and obey Him again.
